Our Read Local BC campaign features a dedicated website with featured articles, booklists, author highlights and more all shared via a monthly newsletter for subscribers.
BC Books for BC Schools
Our Books for Schools digital database includes hundreds of BC and Canadian-published books evaluated by teacher-librarians and educators for the K–12 school system.
Poetry in Transit
A celebration of our unique literary landscape, Poetry in Transit showcases selected poems from BC authors for public transit users across the province.
BC Bestseller List
Our weekly BC Bestseller list highlights the best selling titles of independent, BC-owned publishers sold in independent BC bookstores.
BC Book Day
BC Book Day invites British Columbians to celebrate the province’s book & magazine publishers, authors, illustrators, bookstores, libraries, festivals, and literary prizes that connect us with local stories.
Read Local BC eBookshelf collection
Available through all 71 BC Public Libraries, the Read Local BC eBookshelf collections gives 5.5 million British Columbians free access to award-winning titles, inspiring travel guides, captivating fiction and nonfiction reads for all ages.
